Melton Mens indoor side will travel to the West Midlands on December 17th to take part in the regional qualifiers for the national league.
The annual one day tournament, arranged by Midlands Hockey acts as the qualification round for the National Competition, with the winner of the tournament progressing.
This year Melton have been drawn in pool A, alongside Sutton Coldfield, Nottingham University, Bournville and Finchfield.
The Melton side are relishing the opportunity to face off against some strong opposition with the group containing last years defeated finalists Nottingham University.
The Melton were an unknown quantity in last years tournament making their debut, however they convincingly won their first game and narrowly missed out on a semi-final place. The team are hoping to go one better this year and make it out of the group stage.
The tournament takes place at Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton on Sunday 17th December.
