Juniors

Melton Hockey Club runs a section especially catering for Juniors named the 'Melton Pumas'. This is mainly run by Danny Willcock, Natalie Willcock, Haydn Snow and Matt Snow. Melton Hockey Club is England Hockey ClubsFirst registered and also has the Sport England Clubmark.

Training sessions are all held King Edward VII Community astroturf. Training is on every WEDNESDAY night and the first training session returning for the 2009-2010 winter season will be on Wednesday 9th September 2009.

LRHA Junior Development Centres 2010 -2011

This is the 1st stage in the new England Hockey Single System (see England Hockey for more details) to help players receive formal coaching at a higher level and to enable them to progress to the Junior Academy Centres. See all the details, dates and locations on the JDC pages. The LRHA Schools & Youth now also have their own website: www.leicschoolandyouth.org.uk.

There are also 2 one off JDC Training days at St Margaret's Pastures on the 4th and 19th of August. These commence at 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
