Welcome. The start of a new season will soon be upon us. This newsletter contains some vital information for ALL club members, new and old.

Training


After feedback from various sources the coaching committee has decided on the following pattern of training for this season.

Wednesday evening: club night at King Edwards VII Upper School (costs for seniors included in club subscriptions).

Juniors 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Ladies & Men 3-5's 6:45 - 8:30 PM
Elite Men 7:45 - 9:30 PM

Junior training will commence on Wednesday September 3rd.

Ladies and Men 3-5's training includes meeting and preparation time of 6:45 - 7:00 PM.

There will also be the opportunity for players (men and women) from the above to be invited to stay on for the elite session.

Tuesday evening: at Ratcliffe College 7:00 - 9:00 PM, a small contribution from players required.

Formal pre-season on pitch training will start on Wednesday August 20th.

There will be a special selection session on August 27th:

Ladies 1 & 2 6:30 - 7:25 PM
Mens 3, 4 & 5 7:30 - 8:25 PM
Mens 1 & 2 8:30 - 9:30 PM

Subscriptions And Match Fees

Seniors £100 subscription and £6 match fee.
Juniors £20 subscription and £3 match fee.
Full Time Students £50 subscription and £3 match fee.

At the club AGM it was formally agreed that anyone with subscriptions outstanding from the previous season would not be selected and that all players should pay all, or where agreed with the Treasurer, part, of their subscription by October 4th.

Please support your captains and club officials by paying subscriptions promptly and ensuring that match fees are paid each week.

Social Events

Our Social Secretaries, Jon Brooks and Steph Foode are putting together a list of events and activities to help us have a good time and hopefully raise some money throughout the year.

Rounders tournament on Sunday July 27th from 1:00 PM onwards, see more details.

MHC 7's on Sunday September 7th from 12:00 - 4:00 PM, see more details.
