Teams are organised into two pools of four and cross-over games are then played based on the Final places in the pools. Promotion and relegation takes place between the divisions, based on two up, two down. The 2007 tournament not only determines the European champions, but also acts as a qualifier for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The top three teams in the men's and women's tournament will qualify.
The 2007 event is being held in Manchester at the Belle Vue complex from 18th - 26th August 2007.
