Mens World Cup Qualifiers 2006
 
England's men competed in the BDO World Cup qualifying tournament from Wednesday 12th April - Sunday 23rd April 2006, in Changzhou, China. England (11th world ranked team) were drawn in Pool A with Belgium (12), Pakistan (5), Canada (16), Egypt (15) and Ireland (22). Pool B consists of New Zealand (9), France (18), Korea (7), Japan (14), Malaysia (13) and China (21).

The top 2 teams in each league go through to the World Cup and the semi-finals for the qualifying tournament, and subsequent final. The 3rd and 4th placed teams in each league have a cross playoff, and the two winners then play each other to take the final fifth place from the qualifying tournament. This makes up 12 teams, those seven already qualified are Argentina, Australia, Germany, India, Netherlands, Spain and South Africa.
