| The English hockey 2006 season finishes with the EHL Super Cup on 16th - 18th June 2006, hosted by Cannock Hockey Club. The teams that qualified are the top three in EHL Premier Division and the National Cup winners. If the National Cup winners are also in the top 3, the fourth placed league team enters. The league winners this year were Cannock for the men and Leicester for the women. They now are automatically entered into the EuroHockey Cup Winners Cup competition. The winners of the EHL Super Cup enter the premier European competition, the EuroHockey Club Championships. If the league winners win the EHL Super cup, the EuroHockey Cup Winners Cup place will go to the runners up in the EHL Super Cup. |
